As webmaster for FintasticJensen.com I thought it would be cool to show off some video of my Nano that purchased at Fintastic Aquariums and that Carl has helped me keep in excellent shape over the last year or two since it has been up and running. It is a 24 Gallon Current Aquapod with two 24″ Current Nova Extreme T5 Fixtures. I removed the original hood that came with the tank to get better light. I added a Maxi-Jet 1200 pump with a Hydor Flo System water deflector and Hydor Nano Koralia for better water movement. For stock I have a mated pair occelaris clownfish and a neon goby. All three fish were donated by the ORA Farm in Fort Pierce. I work for a environmental consulting firm and the fish were donated to us. I would like to thank Dustin and the rest of the staff at the ORA for their hospitality during my visit and generous donation. Be sure to ask Carl about aquacultured fish and coral from the ORA, www.orafarm.com.

Today is gonna be hot at Fintastic Aquariums of Jensen Beach. We are receiving two shipments Friday 4/17/09, one fish and inverts, the other almost all coral. We are going to be more than fully stocked going into the weekend. Today’s coral shipment is going to be on fire. There is a line of limited release corals we are getting in (=really cool) including some crazy montis that are going to be offered for the first time. a huge batch of maricultured acros which will be on sale for the weekend. People eaters, trachs, hammers (wall), torches, leathers, a sweet blue and green ricordia yuma (and others), zoos, favites, micros, well, one of the best shipments (and largest) we have gotten in a while, a lil somtin somtin for all.
There is something i am tossing out there for the future which will apply until further notice.

Next week we will be getting our first freshwater shipment in a long time, while we are moving away from alot of the petsmart fare, we are going to be offering “nicer” stuff. Africans, angels, discus and oddballs. Likewise we will be working on getting our new saltwater systems on line.

We got in a aqua cultured shipment in on Thursday the 9th and it had a ton of cool small stuff; single polyp acans and micromussas, single double and triple duncans, a bunch of cool montis (undata, danea, and some blue encrusting) and some ripe favias. micros and acans for 25-30 bucks, cool!
Friday we will be received two shipments, one of mostly coral, the other of mostly fish and inverts. There will be some cool shrooms, montis, scolys, zoos, and a mixed bag of fish. We also should be getting two boxes of Fiji rock, it is going to be raw, but if you see a piece you like we can tag it for you and hold it till it’s ready.
We are currently offering a few slots for aquarium service. Space is very limited and is on a weeknight and weekend basis at the moment, give a call if you would like to see what spots are still available, 772-692-9950.
